Day One: Kigali – Ruhengeri
Pick up from the Kigali International airport and transfer you to Ruhengeri. Overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House
Day Two: Ruhengeri -Gorilla tracking in Rwanda
Have a quick breakfast, before heading to park headquarters where you will be briefed about your trek to the great primates. This will be a thrilling and outstanding experience, after setting off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Virunga Volcanoes. After Gorilla trekking you may have an optional community walk or relaxation at the hotel. Overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House
Day Three: Ruhengeri – Gisenyi
In the morning, you will head to Gisenyi on the shores of Lake Kivu. Gisenyi is a resort town that stands on the littoral, connected by a wild roller-coaster road that tumbles through lush plantain fields and relic patches of misty rainforest to offer sweeping views over the blue water. It has one of the classic road journeys in the all of Africa. The resort offers a variety of water sport activities and you can choose to indulge in any activity of your choice while at the resort. After lunch, you will carry out a canoe ride. Overnight at: Lake Kivu Serena Hotel.
Day Four: Gisenyi – Kigali.
Kigali City Tour offers tourists an in-depth view of Kigali’s, past and present, assuring that one feels the genuine heartbeat of the city. Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda, blessed with a year round moderate climate. It is also the country’s vibrant commercial center. “After a relaxed breakfast, depart to Kigali for a city tour. This will include the Amahoro Stadium, market visits, handicraft shop visits, pottery projects, and the Genocide Memorial Museum. Overnight at: Stipp Hotel/Chez Lando Hotel/Okapi Hotel.
